Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 29, 2026
Seotron is operated by CHATPING INC. (“Seotron,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains what information Seotron processes, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
1. Information we process
Depending on the features you use, Seotron may process:
- Account information, including your email address and authentication records.
- Website URLs, business profile details, brand information, and settings you provide.
- Website crawl results, SEO missions, recommendations, drafts, reports, and activity history.
- Connection details and data from services you choose to connect, including Google services.
- Billing and subscription records processed with our payment provider.
- Support communications and information submitted through the founding tester application.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure Seotron, connect the services you select, measure website and search performance, prioritize SEO work, generate user-facing recommendations and reports, support onboarding, process billing, improve reliability, evaluate beta applications, and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal information.
3. Google API data
Connecting Google is optional. If you choose to connect Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) or Google Search Console (“GSC”), Seotron requests read-only permission and does not use those permissions to edit your Google properties or publish content.
Data Seotron accesses
- GA4: the selected property identifier and page-level measurements such as page URL or path, active or total users, and page views.
- GSC: the selected site property and page-level search measurements such as page URL, clicks, impressions, click-through rate, and average search position.
- Connection data: OAuth access and refresh tokens, token expiration information, connection status, and last-sync timestamps needed to maintain the connection you authorized.
- Basic Google account identity: the authorization flow may request standard OpenID, email, and profile permissions so the Google account granting access can be identified. Seotron does not use this information for advertising or unrelated profiling.
How Seotron uses Google data
Seotron uses Google data only to provide or improve visible features you request. This includes performance dashboards, page-opportunity detection, SEO task prioritization, internal-link planning, impact monitoring, and Sunday Reports. Seotron may refresh this data on a schedule or when you request a refresh so those features can use current information.
Storage, sharing, and AI-assisted features
Seotron stores authorized connection credentials, selected property identifiers, and imported page-level measurements in access-controlled systems. We may share the minimum information needed with infrastructure and service providers that process data for us to operate Seotron.
Some visible Seotron features use AI service providers to prepare recommendations or report text. For those features, Seotron may send limited Google-derived signals, such as an aggregate traffic change, average position change, or a relevant search term, only to generate the feature requested for your account. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, use it to determine creditworthiness, or use it to train generalized or shared AI models.
Seotron personnel do not access a user's Google API data except with the user's affirmative permission for support, when necessary to investigate security or abuse, when required by law, or in aggregated form for lawful internal operations.
Your Google connection controls
Disconnecting GA4 or GSC in Seotron removes the stored access and refresh tokens for that source and stops future imports. Previously imported measurements may remain in your account so historical dashboards and reports continue to work. You can ask us to delete those measurements by emailing support@seotron.net. You can also revoke Seotron's access from your Google Account permissions.
Seotron's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Other third-party services
Seotron may use or connect with service providers such as Supabase, Vercel, Hostinger, Stripe, Google, and AI providers, as well as other integrations you choose. These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services to us or to you. The founding tester application is collected through a Google Form owned by CHATPING INC.
5. Public website analytics
Seotron.net uses Google Analytics only after a visitor accepts optional analytics. If a visitor chooses “Only necessary,” analytics storage remains disabled. Analytics choices can be reset by clearing this site's browser storage.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide Seotron, preserve the account history users expect, meet legal and financial obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. You may request account or Google-derived data deletion by contacting support. We may retain limited records where required by law or for legitimate security and fraud-prevention needs.
7. Data protection
We use reasonable safeguards to protect user data. No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
8. Your choices
You may disconnect integrations, update account information, decline optional public-site analytics, revoke permissions with a connected provider, or contact us for access, correction, deletion, and other privacy requests.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Seotron evolves. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required by law.
